George Soros Global Macro
George Soros, Global Macro Hedge Fund Manager was born in Hungary and moved to London to study economics. After working in finance there, he moved to New York to continue pursuing international arbitrage. He met Jim Rogers with whom he founded the Quantum Fund. The global macro hedge fund was one of the best hedge funds during the 1970s after which Rogers left and Soros managed the top hedge fund. Later on, he teamed with STanley Druckenmiller.
